We became obsessed with the idea of designing ceramic tiles.
Finding no conventional technique that suited our requirements, we decided to develop our own.
The result is a custom build glaze printer. Allowing computer controlled application of liquid glaze directly on ceramic tiles in biscuit state.
The machine essentially functions as a digital printer.
It allows for quick turnover of custom tiles in commissions of small to medium scale.
The resulting tiles have a look that balances between the organic feel of hand made tiles mixed with mechanical precision.
